We're kicking off your favorite neighborhood festival - The East Atlanta Strut - with a 5K!
The Strut 5k will take participants through 3.1 miles of the hilly streets of East Atlanta, starting and ending in our lively business district. Neighborhood residents will be out in full force as they ready for the day's events, providing cheers of support as you make your way through the neighborhood. Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome!
The Strut 5k is more than just a race; it is a celebration of unity and community spirit. As participants lace up their running shoes, they embark on a journey towards supporting multiple organizations doing crucial work to the betterment of East Atlanta. Proceeds from the race go towards orgs like East Atlanta Kids Club - an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children in our community. We've also been able to provide funds to Georgia Works, Intown Cares, Burgess Peterson Academy and Blessing Bags of Warmth through the East Atlanta Business Association, which is committed to keeping East Atlanta safe and supported while maintaining its beloved cultural vibe.
After the race, our Athlete's Village will provide racers with entertainment, snacks, drinks, and more. As is now tradition - every participant will get a FREE MIMOSA post race. Come for the run, stay for the fun!
